The iconic comic book character, beloved by millions around the globe for over 70 years, will sacrifice himself heroically while saving the life of a friend in the pages of July's LIFE WITH ARCHIE #36, the final issue in the flash-forward series, which spotlights Archie's adventures after high school and college.

......According to those who attended the first ever Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer it seemed better than expected, with clear additions to the TMNT cannon not too distractive, with obvious '[Michael]Bay-isims' apparent...
Al in all, it's adding to new heightened awareness for the up-to-this-point fairly secretive production....one of the TAG-LINEs for the movie is....
"Heroes are not born....They're created!".
..Shots included plenty of action, including the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on a snowy mountain, ..and the turtles themselves may take some getting used to, as facially looking more like actual 'testudines', their scientific name in nature, their size is depicted as larger then previously...

.....While showcasing the major villian both IN & out of costume, it seemed to those who watched were caught experiencing a 'major spoiler' which we won't mention here....
Other rallying calls from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer 2014 include, ----"Justice will be restored!"
The new 2014 TMNT trailer showcases the former 'heroes in a half-shell' in a more serious tone, yet included a few comedic moments which will no doubt lighten things up for family viewing when Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtules hits theaters this coming AUGUST 2014...
This was one of the first unveilings of the newest version of these comic-book hopping reptiles who first appeared in 1984 as a self-published comic created by Kevin Eastman & Peter Laird...
The TMNT began as parodies of FRANK ['300', SIN CITY] MILLER's popular revisioning of MARVEL's DAREDEVIL comic, even poking fun by using names inspired by Miller's additions to the long-running title:
-----'SPLINTER' in TMNT, 'STICK' in D.D., both teaching mentors...
-----'The FOOT' in TMNT, 'The HAND' in D.D., both 'Japanese' gangs in NYC...
-----The radioactive cylinder which created D.D. [below from Daredevil #1, 1964]...as also seen in the live action DAREDEVIL film... 
...looks a lot like.....

could claim [in a non-legal way] to have seeped into a manhole, accidentlyspreading green 'ooze'....creating... YOU get the picture...

Getting back to the TMNT 2014 movie, the turtles are being played by 'real actors' using the same motion-capture equipment as was used in the newest Planet of the Apes movies, and Gollum from Lord of the Rings....
Overall, your pizza-loving April O'neil-friending [who, played by Megan 'Transformers' Fox, also is shown filming with a phone ] heroes seem to be in somewhat good hands, so to be in your hearts once again....
Don't feel too bad about missing it...sources say the trailer hits [for everyone :o] in just a few days.....
