Yes, there ARE 52 new DC titles after the relaunch of the entire DC Universe [...plenty to select your likes from...], but only ONE TITLE has the EXCESSIVELY WARRANTED MOMENTUM to propel nearly EVERY ISSUE into multiple printings....
Only one title, 'BATMAN'[...the singular titled, unlike 'BATMAN & ROBIN' or 'DETECTIVE COMICS', which ALSO has BAT-'READER'S HEAT' attached to it...], can claim enough fame from it's story-content that other creators are itching with bated breath [not a spelling error, look it up...maybe u(sic) learned something today--strange place 2 have done it; this site...:o] to play in writer SCOTT SNYDER's BAT-World!...
Worth the HYPE, 'BATMAN' has been out-pacing the JIM [X-men] LEE-penciled new 'JUSTICE LEAGUE' title, a feat unfathomed by many considering 'The Mighty Jim' has had over 22 years of super-stardom verses SCOTT SNYDER's virtual ascension in the last year-plus of regular BATMAN work!...
Helping, and by no means any lesser of talent, current 'BATMAN' artist and long-time SPAWN penciler GREG CAPULLO, has the envious position of being one of the first to read the latest 'BATMAN' scripts as they continue to plunge ransack into 'BATMAN: THE NIGHT OF THE OWLS', a crossover with enough 'yin-yang'-ing to keep readers at bay, and at odds with each other....
To say things are looking up for DC's Dark Knight Detective would be a hopeless under-statement, and by OWLS-wing or by crook, 'BATMAN's hooked us as surely now 'The Dark Knight Rises', and with extra movie mileage this is one 'DC-NEW-52' title that'll be hovering with IMAGE COMIC's 'SAGA', atop the BESTSELLERS charts long after DARK HORSE's Star-Wars-Origin 'DAWN OF THE JEDI' and MARVEL's 'AVENGERS vs X-MEN' have rocked comics......
So START READING 'BATMAN' TODAY, as THEN, as spoilers-be-vanquished, we can discuss it, as your friends will want to, 'cause, '"birds of a feather...." you know.... :o)
