Unknowing at the time of its creation, at least six months before its release date of 2020 [....SEE & LEARN MORE about that BELOW...], upon release it would be dosed in a much larger conversation about an unforseen tragic contamination, still the visuals & words were bounded together near-perfectly to deeply affect its readers thoughts & emotions...
It is both without hope & because of it, we find, thanks to the strength of the artwork, words, & the placements of both, few-panel-characters resonate so deeply.....quickly finding their place echoing us still, pages & hours later.
Mix in just a small needle's worth of 2020's pandemic flow of uneasiness into Upshot Comics The Resistance and soon it bleeds past the page, itself becoming a triggering super-spreader, hard to hold onto, blurred dueling-viruses, either one understandably difficult to think about, together, congealed, a heart-stoppingly too jagged personal experience for some...especially a parent.
